Have you noticed that in recent times we have seen a sudden uprise in the number of restaurants in Chennai city? Woahhh! And some places are super cool. Apart from the food they serve, their ambience, the activities they conduct and little things like service, the look of the crockery, attract people to visit such places often. While in Boomerang, I had a fun outing of all the funky candy shops and tiny restaurants that served crazy drinks (bet on it!) and some lip-smacking food. So when I took to Chennai, I explored around the city and found these gems for you. So if you are all up for a happy-adventure and you aren’t broke yet, come let’s go!

3) Dog lovers shouldn’t give “Twisty Tails” a miss
This place has been creating a buzz of late with all the twisty tails you get to meet when you walk into the restaurant. Apart from having a great dining experience, you get to play with the adorbest Lhasa Apso, Shih Tzu puppies here.
4) For a whole new experience of the dark world, visit “Dialogue in the Dark”
Ready for a round of dialogue in pitch darkness? This is an absolute unique experience that you should try at least once in your lifetime. You get to dine inside a restaurant in pitch darkness. You wouldn’t know who is sitting opposite to you, what food is being served or the faces of people attending your table. But when you walk out of the place, you will be left with a tinge of some amazing food and hearty laughters. All set for Dialogue in the dark?

5) Board games never get old at these restaurants
The wait before the food arrives is the most painful. Haha! I’ve felt it too. But there are restaurants that would make you forgot about your wait for food by entertaining with a plethora of board games. Get ready to soak in some Jenga fun, thrash your friend at a snake and ladder game and relish your meal.
